You manage solidarity savings products and would like your deposits to benefit from a European solidarity guaranty. This section was written for you.
The solidarity savings market has been experiencing a high growth for a number of years, both in terms of capital invested and number of products. France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden and Norway offer this type of products.
With a view to enhancing the clarity of solidarity savings schemes offered, it is important to differentiate solidarity savings products from traditional savings products.
This is why three organisations promoting ethical and solidarity-oriented finance have encouraged the creation of the first international label for solidarity savings products - Finansol in France, Réseau Financement Alternatif in Belgium and Febea (European Federation of Ethical and Alternative Banks).
This new European label for solidarity savings will endorse any form of socially aware savings and investment aiming at promoting social cohesion, by providing funds to social economy activities, via a solidarity mechanism, in complete transparency for subscribers.
With this label, your solidarity-oriented savings schemes will be recognised via the only European label and will enjoy visibility over this Website. European savers potentially interested in this type of investment will be able to make their choice, not only depending on their countries of residence, but also on the type of area which they want to support or on financial criteria.
